57 years ago Kuchinda College, Kuchinda was established with a mission to spread the light of education in the tribes dominated Kuchinda Sub-division. Now I am proud to say that this mission has been materialized to a considerable extent and Kuchinda College has grown from strength to strength.

Over the years not only the number of students, but the number of faculties has also increased to raise the status of the college to a nodal institute in the state. Infrastructure wise there is no dearth of class rooms and laboratories for the students. A smart conference Hall has been developed to hold Yuba Sanskar Classes for the undergraduate students. The moral and ethical supplement to the curriculum will go a long way in building the character of the youth.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has certainly taken its toll upon the teaching learning process and the prolonged suspension of physical mode of teaching is disheartening for students. But thanks to the members of the faculties regular online classes and conduct of National and International webinars have compensated the short fall in academic activities.

I hope with the cooperation of the members of the staff, both teaching and non-teaching, Kuchinda College, Kuchinda will march forward on the path of excellence in the days to come.
