Dear students, staff, parents, alumni and well wishers!

It is a matter of great honour and privilege to lead kuchinda college which was established more than 60 years ago with a mission to spread light of education in a tribal dominated area of western odisha.

Majority of the students belonging to the marginalized community. More than 2500 students are pursuing the dream with the guidance of dedicated and talented faculty members.

As success has no shortcuts, my greatest hope for students is not that they simply succeed in their aspired career but that they should also have the courage to discover the light within them and live a life that illuminates the world around them.

Our college emblem bears a profound hymn from the Rig Veda:

“ANO BHADRA KRATABO YANTU VISHWATAH”

which means let nobler thought come to us from all directions.

May this timeless mantra guide and inspire us as we strive for excellence.
